Billy Nungasser (President – Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana) is not going to take the U.S. Coast Guard’s crap regarding its clean-up effort eight months after “The BP Deep Water Horizon Oil Spill” disaster… which is still impacting his Parish and its prior to the spill pristine marsh lands.

Billy Nungasser stands his ground with the U.S. Coast Guard on 01/07/11 and says “Kiss My Ass!”

There are many areas along the Louisiana Gulf Coast that are not cleaned up even today. We don’t hear about them anymore as they tend to fall between the cracks in the daily churn of the 24/7 news cycle. However, they are still being impacted and have yet to be cleaned and oil-free.

The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) finally reared its worthless & ugly head in early January 2011 stating that they, along with the Federal Government, were suing BP, TransOcean and five others (mostly sub-contractors) for abuse and extreme negligence in the explosion of the BP Deep Water Horizon oil rig which killed eleven workers and poisoned the Gulf Waters Region for an as yet undetermined amount of time… probably years to come.

Missing in this Federal Law Suit was the giant omnipresent money conglomerate of war and disasters – Haliburton. How can that possibly happen as Haliburton was a major contributor and integral player in the worst oil related disaster in American history???

The Reason: Dick Cheney!

Dick Cheney

Former Vice President Dick Cheney still has governmental pull to keep his gold mine 401K – Haliburton Pension/Retirement plan rolling. If you do not believe my statement, then you are very naive or totally out of touch. American politics and money at any cost at its worst… would be my call.

The Nite Ranter is seriously considering a second follow-up trip to the Louisiana Gulf Coast Region (check out my previous posts, Part I and Part II if you haven’t already).

My first trip to the spill area was on July 22, 2010. I hope to connect with, and personally interview, Billy Nungasser and, once again, interview residents, fishermen, crabbers, oystermen and shrimpers as to their current industry situation as well as their individual perception on the oil still unaccounted for in the Gulf of Mexico eco-system.

So stay tuned!

The Nite Ranter’s question is:
Do you think that microscopic microbes living on the oceans floor have eaten all the oil? Really?

Now Rant To Me!
