Billy the KidWilliam H. Bonney, better known as Billy the Kid, is an enduring figure in American lore. In fact, we’re still talking about him 130 years after Sheriff Pat Garrett shot and killed him in Fort Sumner, in what was then New Mexico Territory.

Sitting Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico will decide tomorrow whether or not to pardon the Wild West frontier outlaw… “Billy The Kid”!

What do you think? To cast your vote on whether Governor Bill should pardon Billy, leave a YES or No in the Comment section below.

Have some fun with this and vote… And let’s hear it from you New Mexico residents as well!

Why after 130 years would any governor be considering giving a dead man a pardon? That’s my first thought on this second thought is I only know what I have seen in movies and he seemed to be an outlaw hero type so what would he have been pardoned from?

Hey Jack: What was TheNiteRanter thinking? Governor Bill Richardson gave his ruling yesterday AM on “Good Morning America” as a NO Pardon for Billy. Hardly enough time for Ranter Fans to weigh in on this one. But, Thanks for your vote and if I ever visit the monument & grave site in Santa Fe… I’ll (figuratively speaking) pop another one into “The Kid” for you! It probably won’t be the first.
      Happy New Year.
